Dance Fanatics

Thank you very much for the great hospitality. There were 10 of us dancers from the Cleveland area at your Spring Swing and all 10 of us had a great time and will return to your next event.

We all agreed that for the first event it was one of the best. The music was awesome, the workshops were some of the easiest to follow and fun at the same time. Of course we love Tera in Ohio :-)

Again thank you very much for your hospitality, you have really fun group of people to dance with.

Tim,

Thanks for the cool moves and the new ending. It is always great to get a new perspective. Do all the Fanatics know you save the best music for the end of the dance? Tell 'em it gets greater later. See you soon.

Hi Tim,

Great news about West Coast Wednesday. I had a wonderful time there last week, and plan to keep on coming down for it. Funky Friday and Swingin' Sunday sound super too. Thanks for all your efforts to offer good dance events, where dancers can meet and enjoy improving their skills!

Tim,

One word: temenous.

--> Hi,
-->
--> Looked up your word on www.m-w.com and with google... I didn't find a meaning yet...
-->
--> How about a hint?

Tim,

It took a reference librarian and me a good time to find this one (sort of a hobby). Temen was a Byzantine emperor that built a sanctuary to each of the loves of his life: his mother, his wife, and his daughter. Temenous is defined as "a sanctuary suited to its purpose" and has with it certain properties (dare I say numinousness?).The reference, as it concerns you, is a compliment on the choice of locations for West Coast Wednesday.

Your efforts really do add up to more than good music and a stack of equipment. Wednesday night is something I look forward to. You give a wonderful opportunity to us and help us enrich our lives.

Congratulations on a swift move to a new place. And, I believe, the Amber House has a lot more to offer than Times Square. Sounds like everything has worked out for the better. See you Wednesday, as I need the practice before this coming weekend.

Hi Tim,

Thanks again for the wonderful party! The balloons and the cake were great, the music was great, the crowd was great, and I had wonderful time! You must have broken another record on attendance. There were a lot of people there!

I thoroughly enjoyed dancing with everybody! I thought maybe the bad weather would keep a lot of people away, but not so!

Glad we finally remembered to get our tickets for Atlanta from you. Thanks for the popcorn and toothpaste! Nice touch! Looking forward to it!

You did a great job last night! Keep it up. See you soon

[Subject: Late night Wed. night]

Just a note to Thank You for staying open late on Wed. night. I know you could close at 11:00 PM, but when there are women available you have continued to play. I really appreciate that. Unlike most dancers I only get that one night a week to practice. I try to pack in as much as possible. If there is a lady standing, I will be out there. I don't expect you to stay open late, as I know you have another life too. However, I appreciate it when you do.

See you next week!

Big improvement! Everybody liked the new floor, especially me! Very glad the management allowed you to make this big step up. It almost feels that W/C Swing is starting to catch on in the Detroit area, due mainly to your efforts.

Thanks for playing that last song for me last night. I wanted just one dance with Amanda, who I rarely see. She is very good and it was fun.

<< Super great news! Times Square has awarded us with a way BIGGER dance floor - three times the size of our previous floor! We will be using the same entrance as before. >>

Yeah!!!! We were getting way too crowded there!! Are you happy now Tim?! You should be. You stuck it out and now you're being rewarded for all your hard work and great music!

See you Wed.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You need a bigger floor because no one wants to sit down because of the great music you play. Nice Job!

Tim,

The good word concerning your dance has gone out to the dancers of West Michigan. Anybody traveling this way on a Wednesday is likely to look it up, I've offered myself as a contact. The new floor is GOOD NEWS. See you soon.

Hi Tim,

Congratulations on such a great turn-out last night. It was lots of fun having so many people to dance with, excect we kind of had to wait our turn for space on the dance floor! Hope you are able to get the larger room for dancing in the future. I think you could really use it and more and more people will continue to come if they know there will be plenty of room on the dance floor!

Hi Timothy:

I just wanted to write and say again what a great time I had at the West Coast Wednesday's. I had lunch today with some of my friends that joined me last night and they had so much fun. The music you played was great and I love how everyone there is there to have a great time and learn from each other. Since I've reduced my teaching to a bare minimum for awhile, I will be a regular on Wednesday's.

I'm now on a quest to really promote West Coast Wednesday's. I started spreading the word among my students who are interested in West Coast Swing and [Carolina] Shag and hopefully we will see them there soon.

You know that I will be there any Wed. that you're there. I just want you to know how much I appreciate all you do to keep WCW going. When I was there with Ken that Wed., and got there early, I saw how much work it was for you......Just want to say thank you. By the way, that's how I figured out how I was supposed to just stop, when you put up your hand.....Ken taught me that. I always thought before that if the hand went up.....I went around. He showed me the difference between the push to go around fast, a softer push to go around slow, and a dead stop. I always enjoy dancing with you and Jason so much.......heck, even Becky is a lot of fun to dance with.... :) Thanks to you and Becky for being so kind and considerate. I really appreciated the invitation to join you after too. You guys are really special. I am planning on going Sunday. I want to see your demo!

<< That pass and switch WCS was really fun. >> I sure had fun with it!!

I enjoyed Ken and Melissa. The lesson was really great. I have seen them quite often at Diamondback and admired their dancing. I never had nerve enough to ask him to dance, so I really enjoyed the chance to get to do that Wed.

I really enjoyed your web site! I read all the dance etiquette part. I was curious after last wed. night, and the conversation we had about it.

I liked the pictures too!

Please add me to your local list, and thanks.

See you Wed. :)

Thanks for the invite ! I didn't get into my email until Sunday and missed the opportunity, though. It is great that you keep us all informed and included this way, Tim. Let's try again next time.

Congratulations on the successful efforts at Times Square. It is nice how all the dancers mix and help each other out in improving their moves. I like to watch you and Becky dance, too. You two have some nice moves. See you Wednesday!

I had a great time on Wednesday. You had a good turn out! Any more people and it would be too crowded! That dance floor isn't huge! But it was a nice crowd and lots of fun.

Thanks for all the dances we had!
